A group of volunteers working to improve student life on campus.
学生会はNAIST学生がよりよいキャンパスライフを過ごせるように様々な活動をする団体です．
What is the student council? / 学生会代表とは？
The Student Council consists of 7 members elected by all NAIST students. The election is held once per year. The Student Council is the formal head of the Student Association, but all members are active.

What does the student association do? / 活動内容
Besides representing and supporting the students, things like this:
- Communicate student problems to the administration
- Host cultural events
- Organise campus tours for new students
- Support other student clubs
- Manage a shared student space, for storing e.g.:
- Instruments
- Sports equipment
- Appliances for short-term exchange students
- etc.
学生団体は以下のような活動を予定しています．
- 学生生活についての問題を学校運営と議論．
- 文化イベントの実施
- 新入生に向けたキャンパスツアーの実施
- サークルへの活動支援
- 共用部室の設置，管理
